Licenses, Certificates & Environment
The Company manages the collection and disposal of solid and liquid waste from vessels (sewage, oily fluids, batteries, plastic, electrical and electronic equipment, paper, and other items) through licensed entities for recycling as required by the Greek Authorities (Ministry of Development and Investments) in line with MARPOL and EU / Greek Directives.
The Company has a contract for a Pollution Contingency Plan.
Outdated computers, screens, computer related auxiliaries, electronic equipment, mobile phones etc. are handed to the nearby municipality licensed to environmentally friendly facilities to be disposed.
- Operates under ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 as observed by Bureau Veritas.
- Operates in accordance with ISPS code as observed by the Greek Port Authorities.
- Operates as a tax-free zone licensed by the Greek Authorities.
